It was designed by Italian, Fabio Reggiani and it took a team of 8 people seven months to build which runs at 280 HP with 3 forward gears plus reverse. It has been entered into the Guinness Book of World Records.

1922 Harley Davidson JD Motorcycle

For a nearly hundred-year-old Harley, this genuine original looks like it’s brand spanking new.  The 1922 Harley-Davidson JD Motorcycle was rebuilt, bolt-by-bolt, from tire to engine to handlebar using all original parts.  It is on its way to the St. John’s auction by RM Auctions on July 27th, where its next owner will secure it for an expected price of around $35,000.

Amazing 3D Alive Animals Painting Creative by Keng Lye

Keng Lye is a Singapore based artist who has taken painting to a next level by adding protrude effects to his painting and creating live 3D Breathless animals, that might feel like real for anyone to assume. So by just using acrylic paints resins this artists create all that water and life like images of sea animals.

After asking how this amazing artist started his journey and what made him that much creative he quoted below lines. via - thisiscolossal

I started my first series in 2012 where all the illustrations were “flat” and depth was created using the layering of resin and acrylic over the different parts of the illustration. This year, I started on the octopus and it was purely an experiment; I just wanted to see whether I could push this technique to a higher level. After applying acrylic paint straight onto the resin, I incorporated a 3-D element in this instance, it was a small pebble for the ranchu and octopus. For the turtle, I used an egg shell for the turtle shell and acrylic paint for the rest of the finishing. The whole idea here was to give the art work an even more 3D effect therefore you can have a better view from any angle. I think there are still many other techniques to explore.

Patna Brothers Launch Jumpbook To Compete With Facebook

Patna: Two brothers from Patna, Nilay Singh and Ankur Singh, can give Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg a run for his money. Working out of a one-room apartment in Patna, the two unassuming brothers are taking on Mark Zuckerberg and have launched a new social networking website Jumpbook, claiming it offers much more than Facebook does.

"Our website contains 5-in-1 feature that also contains a social networking website, a market place, quiz application, forum and blog. All these applications are involved in our website in our system," said Nilay Singh.

But achieving all this has not been very easy for Nilay and Ankur. Brought up amid much financial hardship, Nilay had to quit studying engineering to let his brother complete his education. He learned website designing at a local computer training institute and since then, has been working tirelessly towards creating Jumpbook.

We’re tremendous admirers of Argentine architect / artist Leandro Erlich and after this next article hopefully you will be too. Not only is he incredible gifted, he’s a master of illusion as well.

His latest work titled ‘Dalston House’ is a testament to his skill and vision, it’s art designed to boggle, perplex and thrill. Visitors can simply lay on the floor and look up, only to suddenly find themselves dangling out of windows, hanging from the roof or sitting on a ledge. It’s all part of Erlich’s unique gift of toying with our perception and sense of reality.

Skype Office in California

Skype has somewhere around 250 employees in the Palo Alto area and neede to renovate their current space to be something more work-friendly and enjoyable. To do this, they hired Blitz, who has this to say about the project:

“Skype’s primary goal was to create a world-class office that would differentiate them from their Bay Area competitors in the recruitment of talent. The project entailed a tenant improvement of 54,000 square feet of existing office space to support 250 employees involved in high technology development.

The space reflects Skype’s spirit of innovation in a highly functional yet creative workplace designed to encourage interaction and spontaneity, as well as meet specific acoustic requirements in support of their extensive use of AV. The project is registered for and seeking LEED Silver certification.”

The road connection from the mainland Romsdal peninsula to the island of Averøya in Møre og Romsdal county doesn’t look as if it actually connects as you drive towards it. In fact it looks very much as if you are in for an icy bath as you plummet off its 23 meters height

However, you will be relieved to hear that this is simply something of an optical illusion. The bridge is built in such a way that from a certain angle, as you approach, it looks as it is more diving board than bridge. One can only imagine the creative spirit that overcame the architect as he sat at his desk. Known locally as the drunk bridge it forms part of the Atlanterhavsveien or Atlantic Ocean Road in English and attracts many a curious visitor.

20-year-old student of architecture department of Syria Muhammad Ejleh in their leisure time creates amazing three-dimensional drawings. His work is so skillfully executed that it's hard to believe that there is not used any photo manipulation. Using only a pencil and paper, Ejleh masterfully creates the impression of depth and texture in each image. On one picture can take up to 8 hours of operation

It's hard to believe, but someone came up with the idea to build the world's tallest bike. And this one was the designer Richie Trimble. In the stories have already been attempts to build the longest or the most eco-friendly bike, but until now no one and had no idea. The unique 4.5-meter-long bike was designed specifically for the annual event CicLAvia VI, which constantly collects in Los Angeles, a lot of people, especially cycling enthusiasts

The Dutch Village With No Roads---Giethoorn

Can you imagine a village with no roads? There is such a place in the Netherlands called Giethoorn (pronounced 'geethorn'). There are no roads and cars have to remain outside the village. The only access to the stunningly lovely houses in Giethoorn is by water, or on foot over tiny individual wooden bridges.

Giethoorn is called the Venice of the Netherlands because about 7.5km of canals run through the little village. Some 50 little wooden bridges span the canals. It was founded in around 1230 and originally called Geytenhorn, which over time has become Giethoorn.

Amazing Plant Sculptures at the Montreal Mosaiculture Exhibition 2013

This plant sculptures in the international Montreal Mosaiculture Exhibition will blow your mind. As defined in the official website of the event, mosaiculture “is a refined horticultural art that involves creating and mounting living artworks made primarily from plants with colourful foliage (generally annuals, and occasionally perennials).” It is also a highly complex form of art, requiring different sets of skills from all the participating artists: not only do they have to plan and build the framework of the sculpture and match the colors, it is also important to understand the maintenance of each plant they use

This year over 200 horticultural artists from all around the world present 40 living plant sculptures, created from more than 22 000 different plant species – over 3 million flowers overall! The sculptures will be showcased in 10 exhibition greenhouses and 30 themed gardens at the Montréal Botanical Garden until 29 September. The competition also touches on ecology, challenging artists to work around the “Land of Hope” theme and interpret it in their sculptures from the ecological point of view.
